Julia Mancuso who has been deemed “the best American female skier of her generation,” She took home a gold-medal in the giant slalom at the 2006
Mancuso, like other Olympians, does Pilates daily while on road and it has become an important part of her physical workout. The Peak Pilates MVe™ Chair was chosen for Mancuso, as it is easy to maneuver from one event location to another while still offering a perfect classical Pilates equipment piece for a total Pilates workout. Mancuso’s personal coach is Kazuko Ikeda, a former ski racer herself. Ikeda is also an educated Pilates trainer in her native Japan. Ikeda is trained as a Pilates teacher from Metropolitan Pilates in Seattle, Washington.
. In addition to keeping in shape, the California girl has also recently released her own clothing line. She and other Olympic athletes know Pilates will enhance their performance

capable of naturally, easily, and satisfactorily performing our many and varied daily tasks with spontaneous zest and pleasure.

A little subliminal message from Joe about the mind body connection Pilates has truly returned to life and entered the mainstream of fitness.
