Faith Hill was once named one of the “50 Most Beautiful People” by People magazine. Now she’s one of the most shapely people, showing off an impressively chiseled midrift on the cover of the December issue of Shape magazine.

Faith started taking Pilates classes this year, and the routine has given her, at age 41, a body that outshines most 25-year-olds. As a result, she’s secure enough to bare her belly in a bikini on the cover when the issue hits newsstands Nov. 10.

“I could bend in ways I haven’t been able to since I was a teenager,” she says, giving a thumbs-up to Pilates. “My husband [Tim McGraw] loves it.”

Faith used to exercise with less commitment. She’d do a few weeks of workouts leading up to a tour or a video shoot, then she’d let the training subside. But knee surgery in January forced her to give up exercise entirely for six months, and it wasn’t pleasant.

“I had never gone that long without doing something,” she says. “I was not happy.”

This summer, Faith and Tim started a routine that includes weights, crunches, cardio training and Pilates, and she’s thrilled with the results.

“I found I slept better, had more energy and was stronger,” she notes.

And, of course, she looks incredible!

“It was so hard, but ultimately so worth it,” she says. “In fact, wearing a bikini on a magazine cover is my 41st birthday present to myself.”

Faith is already featured on the cover of Ladies’ Home Journal, where she discusses motherhood and her new Christmas album, Joy To The World.< >< >< >< ><–>
