Mum-of-two Sarah, 44, says her svelte new figure is thanks to organic food, swimming and Pilates stretching exercises – plus running around after her two boys.

She has dropped from a Size 16 to a 12, and this week showed off her trim shape while at the Commonwealth summit in Uganda with her husband.

Now she is encouraging Gordon, 56, to get in trim too.

She has tried to get him to give up KitKats, his favourite snack, and has persuaded him to install a running machine for their workouts. Sarah has been determined to lose the weight she gained while pregnant with John, four, and Fraser, 16 months, and is now enjoying shopping for a new wardrobe. The friend said: “What woman can resist the odd frock when she’s dropped two!”
